A few weeks back, Community State Bank (CSB) launched their annual employee donation campaign, called #Gift2Giving. Each CSB employee was given $100 to put back into the community through a non-profit organization of their choice. For this special podcast, the CSB Marketing Department sits down with Mortgage Lending Specialist, Gretchen Neu to discuss how six CSB employees rallied together to support a local organization known as, the Koss Family Foundation. The Foundation Advocates and Founder, Becky & Dan Faustmann, also join the show to talk about how the organization assists local families affected by cancer and how the community can be a part of continuing to make the organization flourish.

Cancer…it’s a sensitive topic that's very difficult to discuss. For this special podcast CSB Market President, Steve Donovan sits down with American Cancer Society’s Senior Community Development Manager, Matthew Elmer and CSB Retail Manager, Nicole Kurhajec to talk about the upcoming Racine Area Relay for Life Event. Steve not only shares his personal battle with cancer but also talks about the impact that community events such as Relay for Life have on individuals battling cancer.

Each year a group of local leaders get together to make a difference within the Union Grove community, also known as Leadership Union Grove. The Leadership Union Grove Class of 2019 has decided to allocate their time and efforts towards developing a concession stand at Yorkville Elementary School’s baseball diamonds. Three of the group’s leaders, Michael Castagnino (Community State Bank), Kate Johnson (Yorkville Elementary School) and Scott Nelson (Bower Construction & Design) sat down with CSB Market President Dave Moyer to discuss what plans lie ahead and how the community can help.

A few week’s back 14 of our CSB employees delivered a donation to our friends at Veterans Outreach of Wisconsin. This donation was a part of our recent #Gift2Giving campaign. A campaign that was designed for CSB employees to help strengthen their communities. We’re very proud to present our next #Gift2Giving story...this time in the form of a podcast! CSB Universal Banker, Shelly Petrick and a group of 5 other CSB employees pooled their funds together to support a community project known as Rails to Trails. The project has been a 3 year journey to create local railroad tracks into a community path that can be used for many years to come. CSB Market President Dave Moyer sat down with Racine County Executive, Jonathan Delagrave, Route of the Badger Program Manager, Willie Karidis and  Shelly to learn the full story of this local project.
